Josh Duggar sued by porn star for alleged assault and battery during sex

Josh Duggar, star of 19 Kids and Counting, has been implicated in another sex scandal, this time by an adult film actress.
Duggar is being sued for US$500,000 by porn star and model Danica Dillon (real name Ashley Stamm-Northup), who claims that Duggar “assaulted her to the point of causing her physical and emotional injuries” while they were having consensual sex on two separate occasions. Allegedly, the first incident occurred when the 27-year-old allegedly propositioned her in March in a Philadelphia strip club.
After he paid her approximately $600 for lap dances, Dillon claims in the court documents that he invited her back to his hotel room, where she agreed to have sex for $1,500. Things turned ugly when the two were alone in the room, Dillon alleges, and says that Duggar “manhandled” her to the point that she “felt as if she were being raped.”
One month after the hotel incident, Dillon asserts that Duggar sought her out to apologize, leading to more consensual sex that once again got scarily rough. She is suing Duggar for the resulting “emotional and physical suffering.”
The new lawsuit comes as the former reality TV star seeks treatment in a faith-based rehab centre Reformers Unanimous, where he’s been since August. Duggar has confessed to cheating on his wife using website Ashley Madison, and being addicted to porn.
“I am so ashamed of the double life that I have been living and am grieved for the hurt, pain and disgrace my sin has caused my wife and family, and most of all Jesus and all those who profess faith in Him,” Duggar, who has four children, said in a statement at the time.
