The Perry family was super normcore -- and here's proof.
You know those eerily normal-looking paper inserts they put in photo frames before you buy them? The one that show generic families posing or picture-perfect couples laughing and smiling in the sun? That’s kinda whatKaty Perry’s #TBT Thanksgiving family portrait looks like — except way more normcore.
“When ur face is desperate for likes 😐,” she wrote in the caption.
The “Dark Horse” singer shared a handful of throwback pics on her Instagram page on Thursday and Friday as she joined her fam for Thanksgiving. The best one came courtesy of her 94-year-old grandma, who is, according to KP, still “#killingthegame.”
“I’m thankful for good👖’s,” Katy wrote.
Of course, you can’t do Thanksgiving properly without some self-love, too. Before anything family-related popped up on her Insta page, she shared her big plans with wine and waist trainers. Because, you know, #Thanksgiving.
We’d expect this level of holiday celebrations for Katy when it comes to Christmas, as the singer’s new H&M commercial (and new Xmas onesies!) has been spreading a serious amount of yuletide cheer. But T-Giving? It’s uncharted territory for KP. But we’d gladly celebrate any holiday with her. Even — nay, especially — National Hot Dog Day.
