The Aliens Are Back In This ‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Trailer
'We will not go quietly into the night!'
Bill Pullman’s seen some sh-t. His grizzly beard and solemn demeanor in the new trailer for “Independence Day: Resurgence” trailer say it all. The aliens are back, and it’s once again up to the world to defend itself.
After the trailer leaked, 20th Century Fox released footage for the “Independence Day” sequel, according to EW, and it looks insane: Alien skulls, humungous space ships, explosions, Jeff Goldblum.
The movie, directed by Roland Emmerich, reunites much of the old cast, including Goldblum, Pullman and Vivica A. Fox, plus new additions Liam Hemsworth, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Maika Monroe, Joey King and more.
“I spent 20 years trying to get us ready for this,” says Goldblum as David Levinson. “We used their technology to strengthen our planet, but it won’t be enough.”
We’re ready for this. “Independence Day: Resurgence” hits theaters on June 24, 2016.
